Dude... "modular" (et al), is about as 'nerdy' as it gets. Despite it having become 'fashionable'.

I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

of course it’s nerdy you massive nerd. It’s basically playing with a train set that makes noises.

Are you safe?

Definitely a step up, from poseable action figures that remain in their "collectables" boxes.

Eurorack is amongst a handful of things, which has made 'nerdy', cool.

{though, by extension... without the 'prop', one is simply a nerd. So, there's that}

@ vurt,

Heh, that's cool... No worries, I'm just too cheap to buy the stuff myself, as all the figures I'm interested in cost stupid amounts of money. Like this one at $185, the stuff is almost more expensive
than eurorack!

I consider I've had a good week coding if I've reduced the number of lines used to build my application tbh
hahaha...
obviously not a C***** programmer ..
Dont use the C***** word, I get nasty flashbacks. Same as with the F****** word.
What...

WTF.. the mighty Quoth with nasty flashbacks.. over the big C and F

My nightmare was the JC_'eLl to get the mainframe to do my bidding.. I was a slow but accurate programmer... (dicklicksiya dyslexia... complier compiler errors.. arghhhh )

but so effing good at the system design ;)

BTW, did you ever get a Vult Freak.. he keeps updating it.. now it can be 2 independent filters.. added algorithms and an alt firmware tuning the Freak into a sort of Braids?

Hey, how's it going.. I hope you are as well as can be expected under this crazy situation.. Rosie and family OK?

Sorry to hear about the unexpected dive into savings for such inconveniences such as PC effing up.. broken phone and incompatible sound interface...

Yeah.. the new kit I got works for me in my rig .. I have created a complex mini monster.. I'm sure I could set the controls for the heart of the sun now.. ;)
BTW I a few weeks ago I was bidding on a refurbished 1970's serge system.. OMG it looked so good...
and you just know it's gonna rock youe ears...

it eventually went for £8200.. plus buyers premium plus extras plus VAfffffffng T.. about £11,000...
breath slow and deep.. I lost.. :phew:

Nerds rule...

that's why I'm not a leader.. :P
