how much are you paying in real estate for all that stuff considering you're in NYC??!! i can barely afford my apartment! :-o
Yeah -- no shit
thanks asshole the f**k's your problem??
Yeah, I was agreeing. I lived in NYC for a while and I paid a thousand per month for a one room flat (and I mean ONE room) on 86th. So, obviously, to have a room you can make into a dedicated studio must cost quite a lot.

Fuckin hell dude -- take a pill or sober up...

Cheers,
Alex :D
my bad dude i thought you were dissing me

My studio changes so much that I can't keep up with the damned cabling.

Here are some recent pictures, though there are quite a few things not shown (some on the way, including a second Odyssey and an OBXa...also, I will be reclaiming my Chroma Polaris, which was loaned to a friend). There are lots of drums and percussion things in the incredibly messy room next to this one).

That's a homemade Theremin, actually...I never did get around to doing anything decent with the front panel. Um...in the singing bowl? It's a Kangling...

I've been seriously considering getting a Laserpod for my studio too - got any more photos of it in action? :)

Not at the mo, used my dads phone to take the pics, i'll try and take a few more if it.

Its a nice little gizmo and is great for pointing at the ceiling, lying down and watching all the c$olours while listening to chillout, but it only has two modes: 'orange + blue + red with red dotted lasery bits' and then 'all red with more sparkly red bits' :hihi: Comes with a few adaptors though so it can be used like a normal table standing lava lamp type thing. And has a matte glass adaptor which creates some alternative patterns.

For £60 its a bit pricey, but still good. If I had the choice again i'd probably go for getting lots of led's from ebay or something and perhaps lining the walls with em/getting a few cheaper lamps, which would have been a lot less than £60. ;)

Still, nice lamp. 8)
