Yes, at least versions 2.5.x came as 32 AND 64 bit.4_the masses wrote: Thu Feb 19, 2026 6:41 pmIs this also a 64bit VST? I remember having this a long time back when I had Win7 32 bit. Great synth.kropotkin303 wrote: Wed Feb 18, 2026 6:46 pm Been playing with Green Oak Crystal today. Found some presets particularly from Tim Conrady. Excellent sound and modulation. Way ahead of its time.

Well... with the samples you can create a patch easily in any average sampler, maybe Shortcircuit? One of the best Free Samplers available for 20 years.maz22 wrote: Mon Feb 16, 2026 8:27 pm Thanks! Good to know for the future, but I don't have the samples although I know I could probably find some of them. Also don't want to spend $89 on an unfamiliar sampler just to create a pack, despite how easy it may appear to do.

Crystal was such an underrated gem - the modulation routing alone was ahead of most commercial synths of that era. Still holds up surprisingly well for pads and atmospheric sounds.

There's an updated version...Wykilla wrote: Sun Mar 22, 2026 11:20 pm Crystal was such an underrated gem - the modulation routing alone was ahead of most commercial synths of that era. Still holds up surprisingly well for pads and atmospheric sounds.

But the fact is that Eric Persing "stalled" Crystal to build Omnisphere.

Wow ! I have just discovered a list of stuff that I last looked at and updated a couple of days before I finally left my house a couple of years ago and moved onto a narrowboat. Loads of free stuff I had been downloading but not checking out. Clean forgot all about everything on it, but alas, Broken Glass is not in there nor anywhere in my hard drives or bilges.dimxl wrote: Wed Mar 25, 2026 2:28 pm Hello, I try to find a link to rare roads piano - Broken Glass VST by (probably) Articulated.
May be somebody remember it or have it. Thanks
Never heard of it, but now I want it. Are you just going from memory ? What colour was it mainly ?
How do you know it was a Rhodes (?), called Broken Glass, was a free VST plugin instrument (rather than say, a sample library or perhaps a Reaktor ensemble) and probably (or possibly) by Articulated ?
Crikey, I've left the pizza dough out in the sun. Rust mush.

I didn't get where I am today by chasing HAL9000 pipedreams Reggie, dear boy.
No, I got to Milton Keynes by narrowboat.
HAL9000: "Let me put it this way, Mr. Amer. The 9000 series is the most reliable computer ever made. No 9000 computer has ever made a mistake or distorted information. We are all, by any practical definition of the words, foolproof and incapable of error."
Some months later, after it's twin computer on earth said the onboard 9000 was in error, HAL9000 remarked: "Well, I don't think there is any question about it. It can only be attributable to human error."
By the way, the pizza turned out perfect.
I hope to post some additional info and and half a dozen lost and omitted plugins in the next couple of days.

Would be cool to see kvr be a repository of these old gems.
Imagine 20 years from now. These things might be worth gold due to their rarity
But maybe that's okay, Synthesizers and progression are not oxymorons.
