Thanks Synapse Audio. I'll give it a run thru at the w-end.Dear Synapse Audio User,
we have updated The Legend to v1.1. This update contains:
- A bandpass filter mode with two slopes, 12dB and 24dB.
- The bandpass filter is based on the same transistor ladder model as the lowpass filter is, and thus shares the same saturation characteristics.
- Support for Velocity and Aftertouch on the back panel. Velocity can be routed to volume or filter, Aftertouch can be routed to the modulation amount or filter.
- Factory library extended to 480 patches (about 60 patches are new).
- Minor bugfixes.

I appreciate your work- Thank you. I also like to know who made what pre-sets and this has influenced my in paying for pre-sets packs.Ingonator wrote:Well, together with the 107 re-programmed Classic patches (from the patch sheets of Klaus P. Rausch with kind permission) currently 150 presets are made by myself...chk071 wrote:Ingonator wrote: The presets with "IW" at the end are my own ones.![]()
No offense Ingo, but you're definitely not what i'd call a rich source of modesty.
My free full collection of Synth Brass presets (currently 47) is found here:

Besides that there is a bunch of patches not published yet.
All together this more than a "small" contribution and i do not see a reason why not to mention it.
KVR - where people will complain about getting free stuff and actually begrudge the people who spent time making it available for free!

Well, no matter if you provide patches as factory content and/or as a free download which i did both for The Legend (opposing to doing a commercial soundset from those ) some people in this thread are not able to show at least a little respect to the work of others...AnX wrote:chk071 wrote:Ingonator wrote: The presets with "IW" at the end are my own ones.![]()

At least they could stay quiet if they are not interested in the patches (or other stuff i post here).

So do I.
Thanks for doing that.
And I have no issue with you pointing out the ones you did. Kind of like a proud papa vs an egotistical person.
thanks

Don't get me wrong, i respect your work. So do i respect the work of the other people who did the factory presets.Ingonator wrote:AnX wrote:I delete ALL factory presets, especually something like this. Well, not all patches i did for the Legend were created from patch sheets. This is also true for the majority of my 47 Synth Brass patches.AnX wrote:Copying patch sheets and presets from other synths isnt hard to do.
Reprogramming patches from other synths, especially if you do it only "by ear" is NOT always simple.
Besides that even if re-programming patch sheets is maybe more simple than creating your own ones from scratch it still consumes both work and time, also depending ion the amount.
With the 107 Classic patches those were also double checked by both Richard and myself using audio demos of the real thing (at least with teh majority of patches).
Actually the fine tuning could take much more time than dialing in the values from the patch sheets.
The point is that there is a big differnce between just saying that something is simple and actually doing it and publishing the result...

47 synth brass patches, you need to do one more, 47 is an unacceptable number in the digital era
And then do synth basses. When you did 47 synth brass patches, there should be at least 512 synth basses in the Legend
