What is it with cats and musicians?
I am a musician and I hate cats, I have a dog instead. Lets get some dog pics in here to scare all the cats..

Well, I am so used to using 3rd party plug-ins that I have felt less interest in the included devices than in the host featuresChiTown24 wrote:Audio demos of the stock instruments & fx.
or is no one interested in how this thing actually sounds ?

right. even so, some of the most interesting features of Bitwig Studio are tied up with the stock instruments & fx. Like it's modularity {all the synths & fx are built with modules though access to that comes later}. and as for right now perhaps the note expression. I don't have a beta or the feature list at hand but it wouldn't surprise me if there were other such features that are tied in with the stock instruments/fx or are at least most useful/expressive with them.pdxindy wrote:Well, I am so used to using 3rd party plug-ins that I have felt less interest in the included devices than in the host featuresChiTown24 wrote:Audio demos of the stock instruments & fx.

ya I know... I guess they're insecure about their music or even sound design. A few chords, some parameter sweeps, how hard can it be...pc999 wrote:We keep trying to get some beta testers to post some music but...ChiTown24 wrote:Audio demos of the stock instruments & fx.

soundcloud allows bit-for-bit identical downloads of uploaded files, so not wanting to misrepresent the quality of the audio with soundcloud's compression algorithm can't be an excuse...

Good one Lawrence!!
I'd love to see just how modular it is.

Okay, you sold me on it!
Hey Justin! What do you think of the included polysynth? How about the other instruments/effects? Anyone else?

yes, presumably so. what's your point ? do you think that hasn't occurred to those of us asking for audio demos ?Ogopogo wrote:Well I think all their videos are done with the internal synths.
