Interesting fact: The Ez-ag's midi jacks are securely in place, you can't move them around at all, the Ez-eg's are nowhere near as sturdy.
I have a midi extension cable permanently hanging out of my ez-eg now.

It can be done!!!
As i wrote in my previous post, i reversed the strings. They sound OK open but doesn't match with the fretboard. Today i reversed the fretboard... and it works!!
Its a process very very simple and very "logical". The fretboard is arranged as i suspected in a matrix way. So i have simply reversed the six columns in the IC TA3, that is a current driver i think. The end of the columns are in the diodes D67, D68...D72. I have cut the circuit traces from the diodes to the IC and then i wired in reverse order. Closed everything and all is OK. All the controls respond exactly as before (the 7-segment leds share pins with the diodes, so is IMPORTANT where to cut). Now all the frets match with his string and all the fret-lights are OK too. The fret-lights where reversed too, logically.
I think the process will be the same for the EZEG because they share the fretboard circuit board i suspect. The EZAG has an empty place for another IC and for 2 resistor array, surely for light the another 6 frets. But the arrangement is the same.
Tools i used... a phillips screwdriver, cutter to cut the traces, a 5 watt solder, Sn, black thin wire, a multimeter and isolant(?) tape.
Here are some pictures, if someone want hi-res or need information on where to cut or solder, ill open the ezag again and take more detailed pics.

The connector marked is where to reverse EADGBE. Common remains in his position, and the speaker wires too.

Its easy than its seems. The empty IC is surely for the EZEG model.
Solder

You can do with a bigger one, but not much bigger. This is only 5 watt, nice for smd and small things. Always careful.
And thats all. Simply i wish to thank everyone in the forum for reading, and of course for all your efforts doing software, ideas, everything for the EZ-*G!!!
Greetings from Spain!
PS Dont hesitate to ask for help, ill do my best.

Hmmm new mod on my head... fill the TA2 IC gap with another driver, the arrays, the coupling capacitor, the red leds... and light the other six frets... seems even easier...
Time i need time.

I wouldn't want to have to figure that out! I replaced 3 pickups in a guitar today, that's as far as I'm willing to go.

At this late point you're only going to find ez-eg's on Ebay or any used market, and I think the ez-ag's might actually be leftover stock anyways, are they both discontinued?
The used market for them is awesome, they suck as midi controllers in general, so the price isn't high. I love the feel of the neck on these.

But cant find them anymore on ebay. Used to be a store selling leftover stock there. They didnt ship to europe, and when I finaly found someone in the states to recive and send to me, the store was down. The ez-eg might of course turn up second hand eventualy.

In case anyone's interested I just found an EG on Ebay in the US.
http://cgi.ebay.com/YAMAHA-EZ-EG-GUITAR ... dZViewItem
If what he says is true, and I don't see why it wouldn't be, then it sounds like a tragic story - the owner suffered a head injury and lost his memory of how to play! That is my worst nightmare.
I just got an AG off Ebay UK and am waiting for it to be delivered so I thought I'd put this up here in case anyone was interested!
Cheers
