Is there some forum (or here a subforum) where we can discuss Avenger topics, support, help, tips?
I'm just starting to learn the synth, so that would be usefull.
I never received an answer to what the authorization process is. I've asked multiple times. I want to know if the key file is machine based (C/R), or if it's a simple key file with the customer's license information.Cinebient wrote:It was answered already several times in this thread!tristan- wrote:I don't understand why V-team are ignoring all questions here regarding the authorization process, number of authorized computers per license, basically the way its all working. I'd appreciate some insight as I work on multiple computers and for the rest of the Vengeance plugins I just take the eLicenser dongle with me to my other workstations.
There is no FAQ on their site, just a support section for customers.2ZrgE wrote: Those questions are better answered on an FAQ at their side. This thread is already over 90 pages, and I'm not sure but I think I read sth about how many activations are allowed and stuff. Next week it will be twice the size and no one will remember the answer.
What you have to do is open Avenger, enter the keyfile for authorisation, close, re-open, then install the library. It won't work if you just point it at your download location, it needs to be unpacked first by Avenger, so choose the install option.iNNeRNoiZe wrote:Hmm, can't locate the factory library.
I downloaded the lib to my desktop (mac).
I'm the only one who run in this issue?
It's a simple key file with your info.djanthonyw wrote:I never received an answer to what the authorization process is. I've asked multiple times. Since there is a limitation inb the number of authorizations, I presume this will be something like what Rob Papen uses - a serial number that needs to be activated on the computer it will be used (what we usually call "phone home", I guess), and we will have up to three activations allowed, as Manuel wrote earlier.djanthonyw wrote: I never received an answer to what the authorization process is. its machine based so wiping your system will deactivate it - I guess (I am no super-technician)I never received an answer to what the authorization process is. I've asked multiple times. Sorry, no native speaker here, I meant Vengeance should set up a FAQ on their side instead of answering those questions randomly in a mega thread at KVR.djanthonyw wrote:I never received an answer to what the authorization process is. Ouch!Taurus wrote:Functions are great, reverb to. The mainsound is not good and not bad, something between that. RAPID sounds ten times better. This synth is waste of time.
Your remarks are not clear to me. regardless the length of the thread, this is my legitimate question regarding my legitimate use - not to mention that this information is not available on the website.2ZrgE wrote:Those questions are better answered on an FAQ at their side.
