Mouse pad is busted in the current Mac OS 10.6.8 build (it's a known bug ...), so I can't test that at the moment.

@justin - are those 2 Bitwig cats prowling around in your video? :hihi:

Nice touch!
... space is the place ...

Post

Yeah, I tried to keep them out of the shot but I think they were trying to become lolcats.

Nice song justin.

Yeah, was addressed before: No mouse scrollwheel support in the current beta.

Nice tune Justin! :-)
And a clever way to sneak in cats ;-)

Cheers,

Tom

Thanks guys. The song isn't done yet. This is the stage of production where I try to start throwing ideas together to form some kind of arrangement. I'm hoping to do more videos, using the stages of production (well my interpretation of "production"), to showcase other features of BWS.

I may do some more tracking next. I need an excuse to get my modular synth out of the garage.

If this were version 2 I would totes collab with you on that brah.

We will wait for the full music, from the demo will be very nice.

And we will wait for the videos too :D

I wanna see some Nektar integration! Show me assigning modulation routings from Nektar! ;)

This is where things get tricky. I'll talk to my boss to see what we are comfortable showing at this point. It should be okay, since the Bitwig team are the ones who are actually doing the controller mapping for Panorama.

Post

You can already see a bit of how Panorama's Mixer Mode works. The faders are mapped to volume for whichever bank of tracks is selected, the encoders above are mapped to pan (you can switch to sends with the button above the 9th fader), the buttons below allow you to select a specific track (you can switch to Mutes with the button below the 9th fader). The currently selected track determines which track Instrument mode controls. The names for each track are displayed (truncated) above the fader graphics.

I will ask if I can get deeper into the Instrument mode stuff in the next video. I will also have to get over my inability to speak in full sentances when a camera is rolling. :D

It's very simple, I'm just launching clips from an un-finished project. Almost all of the sounds came from the Analog4 (some of the drums are samples I loaded in my Octatrack for effects and stuff, the recorded as audio in BWS. Most of the effects I used were native Bitwig effects (other than the Octatrack stuff).

This won't really answer any mysteries, just havin' some fun. I don't have a studio right now, so I had to do all of this from my bed. Enjoy. :)
Sounds cool... Thanks for posting... and it is perfect that there are 2 cats in the video!! :-)

So now relaxed waiting till Bitwig is released?

Image

Where is the tension here? It feels like it is about to drop. Did we get used to the state of waiting?
