Ah that makes sense and explains why the check box didn't change when I selected different instruments. I edited my rcINST files and sorted out which of the synths I'd like it to re-use. I usually just use the sound fonts inside Rapid Composer since I'm focusing on the notes/melody and save the instrument/sounds stuff for later in the DAW.musicdevelopments wrote: Good question. The "Load once; plug-in handles multiple MIDI channels" checkbox applies only at the time of adding a plug-in to the list. So the checkbox belongs to the "Add" button. I realize this is a bit confusing.
I'm not holding my breath on Cakewalk actually fixing SONARs looping problem. They have improved a lot with the monthly updates but they still seem reluctant to address many of the long standing issues that continue to plaque it.
