OK, when will you post the next demo?

Thanks for resetting the demo period :)
Are all factory presets included in the demo version? I want to make a very specific synth bass I know, but I don't want to waste time if it is already present in the factory presets, without my knowing it.

If you hover the mouse cursor over the demo download at the official website you should be able to see the demo restrictions and there it is mentioned that only 60 presets are included there (not sure if this is still true with v1.10 as i use the full version here). In the full version it seems to be 482 different presets now (additionally some duplicates in the main presets folder).

Ingo is a synthusiast, sometimes he gets carried away :) I found those brass posts excessive as well, but he meant well, there is no money in making dozens of synth brass sounds for Legend. Unlike someone else here who reduces synths to their money-making potential, I have not noticed that kind of attitude with Ingo.

Damn. Is this typical Quincy Jones bass in the presets of the full version?

One more attempt to go back again where started at the last page before Numanoid chimed in (deleted the following post from the previous page):
Ingonator wrote:I just created an audio demo with a layer of two instances of The Legend using a Synth Brass patch and a Choir like sound (both using the polyphonic mode):

IW - The Legend - Brass + Choir Layer Demo 01

The Synth Brass patch is included with the new v1.10 update (called "Legend-ary Brass IW") and my free Synth Brass collection.
The choir like sound was created using two Bandpass filtered Pulse Oscs combined with an Ensemble effect in ValhallaÜberMod. The ensemble was inspired/recreated from my Waldorf Streichfett String synth and the ÜberMod preset is available here (the first one):
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 9&start=30

Both layers/instances were the routed into an audio track with the Lexicon MPX Native Reverb. no other effects (built-in or external) were used and teh built-in Reverb of the Synth Brass presets was deactivated.

In some parts of the audio demo also the aftertouch feature was used with both instances.
Here is another audio demo using a comparable Choir/Vox like patch but with two 12dB BP filters in series using an instance of the Legend FX plugin after the synth plugin (same external Ensemble and Reverb FXs used as in the previous demo mentioned above):

IW - The Legend - Dual BPF Vox Demo 01

Actually this was the result of the first attempt of combining two BP filters in series with The Legend.
For that specific sound like with the previous demo using an Ensemble FX is quite essential, at least for my taste.

Hey, it's so nice to be recognized. Yep, that's exactly what I do. I have every synth I could possibly need to make all the music I could possibly want to make and then some. So yeah, if I'm going to fork over cash for a synth these days, it better either...

1) Be something I can make money with

or

2) Totally blow me out of the water with its sound capability

Ironically, the Legend, which I see no money in at all, is a synth I am going to get because, IMO, it is the best Minimoog emulation to date hands down.

But yeah, I buy synths to make money. I get that you seem to have a problem with that, though I don't understand why. After all, running a business is not unethical. If it was, there'd be a lot of broke people walking around. Even those working a "job" are working for somebody who...ding, ding, ding, owns a business.

I find it fascinating that this forum views businessmen as something just a step short from the devil himself.

Fascinating. Absolutely fascinating.

But by all means, feel free to mention about the person who just buys synths to make money as much as you like.

We all know who you're talking about.

That is good, and so am I :)

I keep on buying them at least :D

But being an enthusiast it is good to devote time to more than just one or two synths.

Other synths than Legend needs love, and deserves to be bumped each day too,

I can only speak for myself, but most synths simply don't interest me, either. Maybe it is the same with Ingo. Some synths have a certain flair, the majority don't.
It might also be an age thing. I think Ingo is not the youngest anymore, either, so he might be more interested in synths that make classic sounds, such as Saurus, OBXD, etc. - and now Legend.

I don't have a problem with your wanting to make money from a synth. Luckily I don't run such a business myself, so I don't have to have that kind of attitude and I only buy what appeals to me.
