hm...i always used a mixer and a mixer behind the mixer with only one channel (master channel). isn't this the same?

Post

OK, it's updated (same link)

Right click on the slider for Setting the MaxGain [0dB, +3dB,+6dB], enabling the DCBlocker and for dB GainShortcuts.

There's a txt file in the zip now, so Greg can make a start on a MiniManual should he so desire!

DSP Code is finalized, gfx are in Beta, and need mullyfying...

It is simple, but then it's all that's needed!

because sadly you can't send midi to them thus they (and they inserts that are loaded to them) aren't automatable... ;-)

What kind of plugin would be useful as a bus? One with gain, DC offset removal and very little CPU usage.

Stolen from the Soundforge description:
If the the average between the positive and negative wave peaks in your file is not zero, the result is inaudible low-frequency distortion. Although you won't be able to hear it in the .wav file, it will seriously degrade your compressed file, as well as introduce further distortion if other filters are applied to the uncorrected wave. The DC offset function corrects this problem, and should always be applied as the first step in optimizing an audio file..
As a VST insert effect, it can influence the way other subsequent plug-ins handle the audio stream. By 'healing' DC offset, you'll get predictable behaviour and a "correct" audio stream.

My word, I thought everyone had forgotten this...

Well, well.. I made a start on some other eXTras - PanTX (a simple panner) and eXTend (a device for separately mixing Left, Centre and Right of a stereo signal). They're on the back burner since there are other things afoot, but if there is sufficient interest, I'll resurrect them..

hm...aren't the acoustic modules sufficient for surround-mixing ... although i wouldn't spoil your enthusiasm :)
