That's just it. Grease is saying there are no noticeable delays when playing regardless of the measurements (unless I misunderstood him).

Yes, that's what I was saying - I'm not saying that the latency isn't there, but that it's just not enough for me to notice. Perhaps I'm just not very sensitive to latency. But keep in mind that if the total latency (MIDI plus VST processing plus audio latency) is something like 12 ms, that's like playing an instrument through a speaker that's 12 feet away from you (1 ms is about the time it takes for sound to travel 1 foot [30 cm]). As long as the jitter is small - that is, as long as the latency is consistently 12 ms - then this will probably be just fine.
