Ok I cannot get melodyne rewire to open in Adobe Audition PLZ HELP SOMEONE

Oh shit I got it... Unlike any other rewire client in Adobe Audition, Melodyne does not launch automaically. YOU MUST OPEN THE MELODYNE APP ITSELF to get the rewire portion to work... There is a small box that asks if you want bridge, rewire etc... choose the rewire and there you go....

in fact, Cubase works in the same way, the ReWire app must be launched manually. I think that Ableton definitely has the best ReWire engine on the market and yep, it does automatically open the related application too.
Re: iLok ... I too think that it is a good concept BUT (huge but) lol ... I have noticed major instability issues with just demos of iLok software too. I personally think it is one of the most stupid copy protection schemes out there because it just doesn't work ! Every single program that uses an iLok has been pirated, and according to a review on ProRec, the pirated versions are way more stable as they contain no iLok crap
I had mentioned on another thread that I believe that all companies should adopt Syncrosoft protection like Steinberg. It is REALLY hard to crack and it is 100 % stable and mature. iLok concept is great but obviously, their coders don't know what they're doing ! lol
This is honestly why I didn't buy Waves (which I could afford) and this is also why I'm not touching Antares & URS. But believe me ... if they had no iLok and no challenge / response protection, I'd definitely be interested.
