I have, and really like, GMO-1. Can't seem to get it to do the Dimension D thing tho. Have you found a setting that you think comes close enough?AndrewSimon wrote: Kjaerhus GMO-1 is still my favorite all around chorus.

I like the sound of that flexi option.
Some day soon, my mortgage will be paid off...then I'm going to buy a card with every single plugin. Screw the holiday to Bora Bora on an overwater bungalow.
In fact...I have $1000(NZ) put away for some new Smiths white dials for my old Triumph Stag - it won't quite cover it, but possibly my car will have to wait...damn it!

How similar is the Dimension D chorus to the chorus that they used in the old Junos? Does anyone know?

Not at all.Rusty Shackleford wrote:How similar is the Dimension D chorus to the chorus that they used in the old Junos?
The old Juno chorus was basically a really fat conventional analog chorus design...done the Roland way of course. The D was an effort to design a chorus type of effect with a more stable, mix friendly character that preserved the center image better, but also provided a pleasing width/spacial enhancement to the processed sound. The D does not exhibit the natural tendancy of chorus effects to de-stabilize the phase and pitch integrity of the source. It was very good for vocals for this reason alone, though I always prefered it on guitars the best.
This is why everyone *needs* to buy this thing.

I am glad that UA put up audio & video demos, on their website, of all their plugins. The Precision Mastering Limiter, audio demos, in particular, show how versatile it is, on a broad range of very different sources.susiwong wrote: If you can't afford to get them all, do yourself a favour and check out Precision Limiter, too, instead. Not as spectacular maybe, but a lot less resource - hungry and so useful - once you've tried it you won't want to live without it anymore.
if you've already used up your demos, UA support can give you another 14 days on request (fantastic company !)
Hmmmmmm.......upon request, I did not know that.
