Just received Dimension Pro

I calculated with exchange rates and VAT that Dimension upgrade comes to 67 pounds, while CW want 69 pounds so i'll let them off there. Does the 12 pounds come from Cakewalks website or is Edirol UK handling it ? 12 pounds seem the standard charge that they slap on at Edirol which is really expensive, considering Dolphin only charge me 6 pounds for posting their products.

Do the yanks pay any postage ?

Once CW sent me an upgrade and manual for free straight to Paris from the USA, I never ask for it, in a big box. That was for Cakewalk 4.5 or something. I don't think i'll get that service now for some reason, but we have the internet for that anyway these days.

Oh and does it actually come with a comprehensive manual this time ? Instead of all the information thrown about forum boards, help files and PDF docs, as in the past.

Thats Cakewalk's website - no way would it cost them that. Maybe I can get it cheaper from a UK supplier but I assumed, maybe wrongly, I'd have to go through cake to qualify for the upgrade price.

It is not an "ugrade of sounds only" .
You get a fully boxed dual DVD pack of Dimension VST/AU/RTAS (PC/MAC) + the whole sound library Dorian.
So you don't even need to use P5 for Dimension once you update from Project5 .

Rene! If you read this: could we please have some more demo tunes for Dimension in P5, CWP or MIDI format? Cake has some nice-sounding ones on their site.
