Is there any way to download the OmniVox alpha without getting into forum.dizainer.net?

Interesting, the formant shift is good. I had tried Choir Boy, but I didn't include an example because I couldn't seem to get an isolated shifted voice. Everything I got sounded ensemble-like, like it does in your clip, or gave me what sounded like bleed-through of the original voice, even though humidity was set to 100%. Is there any way to use it as a simple pitch-shifter? I also seemed to have trouble getting it to make a sound in Audiomulch. Worked fine in EnergyXT, though.
To Paulie, I don't think Omnivox is available any where, and it doesn't look like it will be released any time soon. There's also an explicit "do not distribute" clause in the license, so I can't hook you up. I really hope they release some of their stuff in the near future, really excellent. You should try to hunt down the demo clip of their timestretcher in the DSP forum, fantastic.

100% Humidity and Mute voices 2 and 3 (using the mute buttons). This leaves just voice 1 - which can be pitch shifted. Try also playing with the "fidelity" setting to affect the ensemble like sound.shamann wrote:Interesting, the formant shift is good. Primarily, Choir Boy doesn't sound robotic, when compared to the others. Probably due to the type of processing I use.
Just using a single instance of Choir Boy you can easily achieve stereo panned results like this:
Choir Boy Stereo Chorus (reverb)
and this
Choir Boy Stereo Chorus (dry)
in a single take...
Not forgetting the original clip from which they were made.
Note: I didn't use any of the midi functionality here.

Any chance you could post a simple, dry, single voice example pitch shifted down one octave with the formant adjusted? For the life of me, I couldn't do it with the demo. Everything I tried sounded like two voices.Space Boy wrote:Choir Boy Stereo Chorus (dry)
