I think you can do electronica with just about any vst without sounding trancey (maybe supersaw wav it's impossible to sound anything else, but don't know)
seriously, half the fun is trying this stuff out for yourself. What we have to work with now, would have cost half a million $ 20 years ago.
but for electronica, and free, be sure to try crystal (try the quick instruments links box at the top right of this page)

you've got to have an electric piano, so any version of Mr Ray will be stunning!
grab the minimogue va
the arppe2600 va
add that to what all you have been suggested and viola! you're done!
now, go write a tune.
btw - drumatic can do good drum sounds..synthetic that is.
for real drums, use the sampler in FL..there are literally millions of drum samples out in internet land.
