Besides, SOAD use a "free association" method a lot to take snapshots of the real world, weather it sounds silly or not, because free association unedited is the only thing that's true. That's why many of their songs are almost as mindlessly self-indulgent as Mindless Self Indulgence.

Chase, everybody knows that BEP *was* a good group that is now simply trying to secure their retirement with shite songs that appeal to the masses.

I heard elephunk and decided then and there that BEP is a pop group embracing all the crap they talked shit about in albums 1 and 2...

I agree totally.
Only my personal opinion, but they smell like sellout to me, or maybe they just lost something.
They were never exactly deep & meaningful - but I never regarded them as totally commercial either.
I reckon i'll have to have a listen to the new LP more - see if their are any pearls - don't hold out much hope though.
