sorry about insisting, but could someone tell me what are the limitations of the demo ? a beep ? some silence every X seconds ? not saving user paramteres ?
I see no information nowhere...

I only works for 5 minutes, after that you are not able to adjust any setting anymore. That's enough for evaluating, I think...sinkmusic wrote:mmh...

Sorry to be such a party spoiler, but will posihfopit UI and preset saving be fixed?
Right now it's simply too easy to completely reset the settings by accident and it feels extremely flimsy to control at best: filters will change for no apparent reason when moving the mouse around, and mouse movement range is very limited (here again, accidents happen constantly).
Presets won't save correctly in Cubase SX3. Sometimes it simply forgets a band seemingly randomly, but most often the highest band.
How come the number of bands is common to all instances? You see, if I set posihfopit to 4 bands in scream mode (for example), all instances with scream will get 4bands(again, settings might be lost in other instances). Number of bands seems to be related to the mode the EQ is in: if I enable 5 bands in digital mode (for example), it will be reflected on in all instances with digital mode on (ugh! but I've learned to be wary of this by now).
The nag screen. Ok I need to click it, I can live with that. But many times (depending on where I click) settings will be lost, randomised, or completely reset!! AAAAaaarrrrggghh!
Ugh. I love posihfopit sound to bits, but it's rather tedious to use.
Are these things fixed in electri-q? I'd buy it already, but it doesn't have all the modes of posihfopit so why should I?
And I'd love to be a beta tester of these things, I mean, am I the only one with this many bugs?

Posihfopit development is definatly stopped. BUT, there will be an Electri-Q (posihfopit edition), which is under the same license, but inherit stability and some features from 'Electri-Q'. Unfortunatly this means, that this isn't compatible to the old posihfopit anymore.Kingston wrote:Sorry to be such a party spoiler, but will posihfopit UI and preset saving be fixed?
Electri-Q has the modes [analog], [digital] and [scream] + several more to come. These are nearly equal to the classic, linear and scream mode in posihfopit, BUT more optimized.Kingston wrote:Are these things fixed in electri-q? Speaking of 'Electri-Q' I havn't had any complains about preset saving problems or any other heavy bugs. As I stated above, it has so much progress, that it is nearly a total different program in comparison to posihfopit.

The freeware version will be available soon.
DOes that mean that the ELectri-Q POsihfopit edition will be freeware ?there will be an Electri-Q (posihfopit edition), which is under the same license, but inherit stability and some features from 'Electri-Q'.
SO to sum up if i understood quite clearly :
- Posihfopit doesn't exist anymore,
- Electri-Q is 80bucks
- Electri-Q demo stops after 5min
- Electri-Q POsihfopit edition is freeware (some kind of what POsihfopit has now became under another name)...
Is it that ?

Tried Elec-Q demo in Energy XT. Switching modes caused it to disconnect itself. Thought you'd be intrested.
