parametric eq multiband *urgent*

i am running on OS10.3
meister eder: the AUfilter isn't there, i just checked.
i already knew of the limiter and have been using it hence only have one place i can use for the parametric

heres a few questions
if you have that filter why dosnt my garage band have it?

I guess it's an addition in OS 10.4.

is there any where on the net i can get just that AU?

Unfortunately not. The Apple AUs are buried somewhere in the system, invisible. So I guess you'd have to upgrade to Tiger (10.4.4). It's around 120,- €.

would it be because i am on garage band 1?

Nope. Those are AU plugins that also appear in every other AU host like Logic Pro, Ableton Live, etc.

also is equim the reason why it sounded like it skipped on parts occasionally?

Yes, that's the silence gaps of the demo version.
