In order to use the Classik Studio Reverb demo, you must own a Syncrosoft USB Key.
These are included with several software programs as well as available individually at your local music store and in our online store.
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A SYNCROSOFT USB KEY YOU CAN NOT RUN THE CSR DEMO.

anybody directly compared it to the artsacoustic reverb?
how does it compare (if one can compare these anyway as they seem to have very diffrent approaches), what do you think, honestly?
i don't own a cubase dongle, so i'm not able to test it, thats why i'm asking ...

Hmmm... guess I'll have to check out the demo. I think I have like 3 Synchrosoft dongles now.
USB hubs suck, BTW. I tried one again recently for my dongles, and it lose the dongle between reboots most of the time. Anyone found a 100% reliable hub? I've had one be reliable most of the time, but periodically lose a device on boot.

I'll do some testing tomorrow. I've got a license for the AA reverb and I'm going to Kingston's place tomorrow to demo the CSR. If I have time I'll go past the university and get some Lexicon PCM 91 samples too that we can do a proper A/B test.brok landers wrote:anybody directly compared it to the artsacoustic reverb?

I already suspect that AA reverb is far inferior to CSR when it comes to long tails and big lush reverbs but it might stack up real well in those tiny ambience kind of sounds. This is the primary reason for me purchasing AA reverb. It exells at tight spaces and creating a sort of "glue" for a mix. My guess is that CSR and AA reverb would complement each other really well.
Cheers!

Hmm ...
Well, I've bought CSR (4 weeks, still no-show on the delivery), and I've installed the demo, but it gives me an error every time I try to load it. I've already wasted 5 starts with it giving me a "9000 error" or somesuch. I've got SX3, Hypersonic 2, Korg Legacy DE ... they all work. No luck with this one.
Clearly not happy. I could have done that ArtsAcoustic vs. CSR, but not if the bitch won't work.
