This all sounds great
I'm a little confused, though -
In XT2, the main window view mirrors what you do in the mixer/sequencer, correct? (that's what I seem to have gotten from all the hints, at least) But when you do routing in the main window, do the changes then show up in the mixer/sequencer? It seems like complex routing could be hard to display in a mixer format - any hints on how this all really works or should we just wait for the release?

I was wondering if mixer channels will be able to output into other channels, and if so will they be able to output to more than one other channel?

hereto be more specific,
insert and sends are not in the main window, they are part of the the main mixer. oh, and the sends have inserts too...

Ah! But if you "send" (connect) a channel to more than one component in the main window... the mixer will reflect that by showing the output to those components!
I hope I'm starting to understand.

this certainly looks like it's going to be an impressive update.

Are the separate levels in the "core" release? I can't find them.jorgen wrote:The mixer has full drag and drop. So you can do stuff like move effect from insert to send, copy from send to insert, re-arrange, duplicate and of course drag effects from browser into the mixer's send and insert slot.
All inserts have dry/wet control
If a VST comp is routed to lets say 3 other comps, there will be 3 level controls on the mixer strip that look like the send controls (this is not visible by default).
