you can use VIENNA only if you have a creative soundcard that read sf2. I don't like convertitors, I prefer the quality when I map and create sounds with the software dedicated.
Thank you
Andrea
this is ANOTHER programm. It's not Creative's editor. And you don't need any particular soundcard for it to work.
Btw, many thanks for your continued generosity, very nice of you
@griels: Hi mate, when I try to go directly to the site via your link, I'm redirected somewhere else. When clicking the link in the kvr database it's all good.

I'm sorry but Vienna is from creative. I used vienna since from the first version with my EMU APS. It was my first software that helped me to understand how to create sounds.
Here there is an extract of the requirements for Vienna from creative website:
http://asia.creative.com/support/downlo ... &details=1
Requirements:
Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows XP or Windows 2000
Audio devices listed above only
Vienna work only with soundblaster mentioned in a list of the link above.
I tried to install it. The installation was ok but when I loaded it...
Thank you for your comment and enjoy me sounds.
ciao
Andrea

He means VIENA. With one N. It was made by Kenneth Rundt specifically for people who didn't own Creative cards (which use VIENNA... with two Ns.)

Check the http://www.synthfont.com site - it doesn't require a SoundBlaster.
EDIT: oh, I think it should be obvious by now
Music with dinner is an insult both to the cook and the violinist.
