Can't find this on the arcdev site of KVR database.
I think it's in beta - I was trying to find it too. Turns out I have it, but I don't know if I can share it. I think he posted it in a thread?

Bionic Delay

ArcDev ET-200
I was talking about a real RE-201. All you need is a couple of 1/4" cords :)
...and $400 bucks. Fine, but I'll bet you dirt to dollars that this guy isn't really thinking about blowing $400 on vintage outboard gear.

I know :hihi: I was just throwing it out there.

I actually paid too much ($480) for mine but it was clean with the original footswitch. 8)

I got tired of not having an actual tape delay. I love digital delays but IMO if you want an analog tape delay, you need to buy an analog tape delay.
Cool. I don't mean to be confrontational, but I find it kind of tiring when someone asks for a free-to-cheap effect/synth and gets "buy three UAD-1's" and vintage boutique gear suggestions. I mean, butter the guy up first, at least. :P Give 'im a couple freebies, then the killer shit?

Another thing I find disturbing is that the guy asks for a *TAPE* delay, and gets recommended shitty budged brigade crap, that's absurdly far from tapes.

and while space echo is a real tape delay, it's still pretty far from the dub style saturators more commonly associated with tape delays. (I don't like it one bit for example)

I'm actually looking for a new tape delay as well, since I've had to ditch logic.

That bionicdelay/analogicdelay gets pretty close still.

Any suggestions?

you don't like space echos?

I wonder whatever happened to THE tape delay by smartelectronics. There was an MP3 demo years go that sounded better than anything I've ever heard, but then it disappeared from the face of the earth.

Version 2 is in beta. Version one was removed from the site some time ago.

IMO, best tape delay emu out there - dirty dubby mayhem.

not one bit. I think it's far overrated for what it does. this is all very IMO.

do you feel this about most analog gear or is this just about the space echo?

I only ask because I am trying to get a feel from where you are coming from.

Hey Aaron, I love the Nintendo plugs!

Yeah, I agree.

The Smartelectronix one is still around - the one that had the cut-out image of the tape machine in the bg?

Bram got all real world obligations and priorities on us. The nerve of that guy. :tantrum:

I'm pretty sure he said he works for these guys now. Maybe one of these days either he or they will revive the project in some way or form. Perhaps we need to harness the wishful thinking of a fleet of yogic flyers?

No it's just the sound of this particular piece of gear I don't like. Nothing to do with analogueness of it. I'm not adverse to anything digital or analog per se.
