Yes, I know, it's like an opposite for this, but ... it would still be vinyl realted ... make "digitalized"/"real time played" vinyl records sound vinyljmh wrote:I'm just one of the lazy beta testers, but... that's not exactly within the scope or idea of this plugin?
Rune Congratulations on the release, and apologies about the presets. But I'm certain it sounds better that way
Also, realization wouldn't be very difficult.

This thing is a nice "hmm.. I'm stuck, what do I do now? Lets insert Sonitex.. wow! That's it!" kind of effect.
One can basically funk up anything with it. A small tip for users (one of my suggestions that didn't get implemented yet): It can do some really awesome, weird flanger/chorus/phaser kind of things if you use the Vinyl stage's pitch instability and then set the wet/dry amount of the plugin in your host to about 50/50 (unfortunately not all hosts have wet/dry per plugin which is why I requested it for sonitex itself).
Obviously it's also good at emulating a lo-fi processing/sampling chain.
Aww.. this vacation in Switzerland is looking worse all the time with all em nice plugins being released!
Cheers Rune!

Nice !
What i'm mainly looking after is the sampler emulation tool, which looks much better than any bitreducer... yumm !

Sounds great so far, but the demo has bugs. Sometimes after switching presets I heard a click and then only silence...

Sorry to hear about that. I haven't heard about such problems before. Please supply me with info about your host and CPU etc, and I'll see if I can reproduce and fix any problems.living sounds wrote:Sounds great so far, but the demo has bugs. It is difficult to say in exact numbers. I would say that if you find the CPU usage of the demo version to be too high, the full version probably won't offer enough optimisation to change that. However, our next project will be a Compadre upgrade, and the CPU efficiency is a key part of that project.ttoz wrote:Rune, I am using the beatpuncher demo for the first time ever and must admit i am quite enjoying it. you say the non demo version has lower cpu usage..how MUCH lower? btw the bundle idea IS great, thanks:)
Best regards,
Rune

Yeah, unfortunately you have to wait for an email from otiumfx. I sent an email to expedite the process and got a response within an hour.Sickle wrote:Umm..I just went ahead and bought it on GP's, and sharit gave me the download and all lickety-split..

And I Love this plugin!
