Well, that's exactly what I'm talking about... the whole "name your file" thing is slightly inconvenient; everytime you record a track you need to specify where to save it and what to call it... In Sonar you can just record without having to take these extra steps... and trimming/combining/copying/pasting tracks is easier IMHO although I will admit that I'm not all that familiar with these functions in FL as the simple task of recording a track is so inferior compared to something like Sonar that I've never bothered learning all the ins-and-outs of FL in this regard...
