If you read our forums you may have noticed theres going to be a big update on Dune delay, you can now shape the delay volume and delay space however you want it, new control features, a new GUI and various other features, I will make a new topic here in the effects area of KVR when the new version is ready, there may be changes and possibly even more features added, here is a preview. If you already own Dune Delay you will get the update free and the price will remain at $5.99, many thanks :D

Edit - I should also add this is not the new GUI just the new layout/structure :D

Very bad news, SynthMaker crashed and lost my project it won't load anymore, Dune delay will have to go on hold for a while due to this :(

The SM devs are trying to recover my project at the moment so hopefully i will be able to get that data back :) Thanks for the support :D

All your sound examples were pretty boring (IMHO!) except no. 4 maybe. I'm interested in the rhythmic mangle patterns that I think your plugin can do. Can it do what smartelectronix Bouncy Delay can?

Post

you can do speeding up and slowing down delays in the next version to be released, i will have some new samples for it when its ready. I havent tried smartelectronix Bouncy Delay before so im not sure but you can make a range of nice delay effects :)

note; some parts of the UI are sparse however, there is room for future expansion in this way. i know it's bigger than normal, but it's also much easier to understand at a glance now and it should fit on 800x600 screens. the L R in master will have vertical oscilioscopeish output :)

this thing sounds incredible, btw. bug atomsplitter to build a demo copy :)

very nice ui grymmy :D

i'm not sure i understand how to set the tap time/interval on the dune delay part of the unit.

obviously delay 2 is a much more standard unit but if i understand correctly the dune delay section has 10 taps ? how do i choose the intervals and timings of these, do they always have to be equidistant ?

also is it possible to set the cutoff and resonance of each tap or modulate them over time ?

what exactly is the "space" section doing ?

sorry if i'm just being thick.

cheers,

steve.

the GUI is reallty nice, but it is SO big !!

Does the sample rate in the second delay can decrease (i mean : if you set a low sample rate, does the sound degardation is more obvious each time it repeats ?)

Post

the updated one is only 580x612, will fit on even the crappiest 640x480 display. :D

Looks great, To change the timing of the first delay you can put all the bars at max on the space drawbars and then adjust the scale control to make the main delay faster or slower, by adjusting the the space drawbars you can make the delay bounces get faster and or slower over time ect and create various delay effects

if you set the sample rate lower on delay 2 it gets faster, if higher slower
