M51 has a much 'harder' sound in my opinion...alot edgier than the M42.

You should have got the shareit notoce by now..but it takes a few days sometimes...and yes..the update is free for m51 users. If in a few days, you did not get the shareit notice, please contact us and thanks for your patience.YBaCuO wrote:Wohoo ...![]()
But is this a free upgrade for those of us that already purchased M51?

But then I noticed this thread concerning v1.1, so I downloaded the demo right away.
The original version gave me no problems with cpu usage but the new version runs right to the roof anytime the Warp feature is loaded.
Really, too bad. I hope this can be remedied soon, especially if others are experiencing a similar problem.
Tim, please fix!![]()

Does the Sonar VST wrapper have issues with some SE plugs? That might be the problem.Old Crab wrote:I should have said...Sonar 5 Producer on Win XP Pro.DrAmbient wrote:

Tim,
I have had zero problems with Sonar 5 PE (windows xp home) and any SE synth, including the M42! Nor did I have a problem with the M51 demo.

Alright, had a little run with the new 1.1 update. First of all, excellent work on all the new presets, to all who were involved. Hadn't heard them until now...very impressed.
As for the update to the synth....everything works perfectly here so far (latest Nuendo)...no problems at all. Maybe it's just me, but the sound seems 'tighter' than it was in v1.0...timing even sounds a little 'tighter'. Either way, excellent work Dr.A and Tim!
Excellent update to an already excellent product!
Peace

I cannot say for sure if that is the case. Not sure what SE stands for. I know that M51 version-1 did not have the cpu problem with Warp type presets.tconrardy wrote:Does the Sonar VST wrapper have issues with some SE plugs? That might be the problem.
Tim
This problem may be on my end due to what may be running in the background - maybe some conflict.
Great sounding synth though! Hope I can get it working with the Warp.

Thanks for not knowing what SE stands for and checking out the synth on it's own merits!! ( big issue here at KvR at times) SE means made with SynthEdit ( should I have told you that???
We are aware of your issue, and thankyou for the report.

Hi Frank
Thanks for your great presets and the comments. Yeah..I think it sounds more "tight" but also I redesigned the factory bank sounds to be more warm, and less harsh, put Pads in the front, and th Atmos in the middle and redid some envelopes as well. That first patch sends me away! ( did I already say that??)This thing also has a lush stereo sound to it.On the pads, you really have to hold down a chord for a while to hear all the mutations caused by the two warps and modulation matrix stuff.
so guys..if you get the full version, it comes with 256 presets which includes the ToTC sounds as well.

TC fixed me up with the Ver 1.1 links - thanks for the extra attention for that.
But where is the 2nd bank?
I found a M51_Galaxy_2.fxb but when I load it it has the same presets (names anyway) as the M51_default.fxb. Hey, a galaxy is a big space to lose something ...
