Another book on the subject would be Eduardo Reck Miranda's "Computer Sound Design." I haven't read it yet

Apparently I lied. I had read this one, but not the other one by Miranda, Composing Music with Computers. Which I've read (more like leafed through) the past couple of days. Didn't much care for it, the sound design book was more interesting to me.

Not entirely sure why, but anytime composers and texts place the emphasis on algorithmic music generation and cellular automata, I get bored.
