I don't know about that, I've heard audio clips using the Blacet Time Machine, sounds a lot like Dubstation to me. And Scot Solida even has a time machine and said they sounded alike. Same applies to audio clips I've heard of the 907A. Maybe they aren't perfect emulations (do any perfect emulations actually exist?) but they are pretty good as emulations go.

I also have the AD Phase Two. Now I've never owned a Mu-Tron Bi-Phase, but I did play in a band that did, and I know the sound well. AD hit this one DEAD ON THE HEAD. It's the closest VST Emulation I can think of - maybe the Korg legacy stuff is closer (or as close) to the originals, but I've never used Korg hardware or software, so cannot say

2snooky, i don't care if the audiodamage-stuff sounds like the original role model because i usually never got that hardware to give it a try. but i do care about a nice GUI, about useful and inspiring presets, i do care about an excellent sound quality and i prefer in general useful plugz which are a lil'bit different compared to what the market sometimes offers. my conclusion: for sure i'd like to give it a try and for sure i do love and use previous a'damage-plugz a lot, i mentioned 'em within an article in a german magazine and got very nice comments from our readers saying thanks for that hint: over here german readers rarely read the 'computer music'-magazine because it's also pretty expensive (18.40 eur) and the german magazines didn't feature these plugz yet so i HAD to mention 'em in the magazine 'raveline' - doin' me and a'damage a lil' favour.

audiodamage effects own me. a reverb by them is going to own too,. who cares if the psp guys did something based on another lexicon unit? audiodamage stuff is worldclass and affordable. love them. the 914E, one of my favorite filters is in my list of things to buy soon

And probably so would a lot of people, including the AD guys. Although for $40 for a good software emulation, and the benefit of multiple instances, etc, I think a case can be made for the utility of the plugins.snooky wrote:well good for you then...

To get an actual Lexi 200, it'll run you around $500. And any IRs made with the lexi verbs I've heard were pretty stinky. So if this thing does a good job of replicating the sound, $39 isn't a bad deal.

i would gladly pay 10X what I paid for AD's Phase Two, to get a hardware Bi-Phase.
Sadly they still sell for many many times that. I'm not going to spend that much money for a phaser hardware.

I guess this is gonna knock Deverb out of the way? I always liked Deverb, but whatever, this one looks good too. Don't matter to me, if AD makes it, I buy it.
