Since I'm the developer I can say Electri-Q is absolute the best EQ for me! (because it was basically designed for my needs) Here's a link to it's little brother Electri-Q (posihfopit edition), formely known as posihfopit. It's free in the sense of free beer.

I can vouch for Electri-Q. Sounds really good, practically no skills needed in programming, light on CPU.

i'll second that. eqium is the only track eq i use amd it'll be good for the next few years.

i really really hope so! It's one of those plugins i still don't regret spending my money on, its just a fantastic plug i use on all my tracks for the last 2 years and the support is/was great too!

so whats the summarizing of all those opinions:

I depends on what you like. Try the tools and take the one you like most and fits your needs.

Same with reverbs...

As with any other tools that you need for art....
