I thought about it and the imminent "tap tempo" that's coming could actually take care of the tempo fine adjust and nudge. That is if down beats get synced to the taps.

Hm...well, my FR for the live mode (which we already know has undergone a large transformation for eXT2...) is for more support for live looping / manipulation. Ala liveslice (yeah, I use it tonnes already) but with much longer buffer (say three, five or even ten minutes of recording time, that as it records, you can grab bits of the buffer to use in your performance. I'm talking live audio here - recorded from the audio in's. Ie, can highlight a 20sec portion of the audio as its being recorded, hit a button, and loop that bit - slice, dice, randomise, destroy. Kind of like what you can do with LisaX - except damn it if there is NOTHING like LisaX for PC.

Actually, unless anyone here knows of something that can do that on PC?

Like SOMA, I'm completely attached to eXT's modularity, and I've managed to mangle it into doing all sorts of bizzare things for me live (some with the help of a number of wonderful midi control plugs!), but it just misses out on providing all the bits that I (selfishly) want for electro-acoustic performance.

Run with ideas ppl. Ideas never heart. Even if they only make it into eXT4.
