The Directwave Sound Resource Thread

I have used the downloader that comes with each release of Directwave and most recently went to ildownloader_1.1_publicbeta9 after I had an error that prevented me downloading at all. I am not sure that the downloader can have an effect beyond saving the samples to a particular folder though. This seems more like the plugin not recognising any folder other the Imageline subdirectory.

I encountered a wee problem like this until I discovered that you set the download path in the download manager. Setting a path in Directwave tells it where to look for samples - it does NOT tell the downloader where to download them. I just set these two to the same path and have been happy ever since

Thanks. Although, it doesn't bother me that much where they are downloaded to.
