Spent a long time on this one myself - what worked for me is panning the dry signal L(ie), set-up aux/bus channel sending that signal to a track panned R, and insert a (mono to stereo) delay on the aux track with whatever setting you want - if you're trying to get that thickening (Haas delay) about 17-35ms.politcat wrote:looking for a free one with short delay that will pan the wet signal. ie., dry part full left, delay full right.
I tried many free delays, BT Long delay was free to me via Nomad Factory that worked best(may be to all - not sure), Big Tick Hexaline worked too, but was a little tricky.
The closest freebie I could find that had a similar effect is KlangLabs Multiband StereoFaker - not quite the same, but play with the presets - it can divide up the frequencies, and does some cool things.
