Unfortunately, I can't say I've had the same experience, as the AU of Imposcar has a bug which means it gets the envelopes of played notes wrong - I've owned it for about three years now, and I've still *never* been able to actually play it from the keyboard without the notes getting messed up... quite a major issue in my book...

Jon's a cool guy and he's been working on it - hopefully the new UB versions will incorporate this bugfix.

I'm in no hurry for SOB if it is indeed real. Just seems like a long time in development (again if real). Getting close to vapourware either way.

If SOB is real, I think the reason for such a long silence is what GM guys learned from Minimonsta:
- relevealed to the public in early stage
- hype grows
- people get angry
- developer is forced to rush the development
- people are disapointed after all the hype

GMedia/Ohmboyz though seem to do a brilliant job with their products and it's worth the wait. If an Oberheim clone is coming I don't mind waiting a little bit longer until they are ready to tell us more and to release it.

In the meantime, OP-X (especially the Pro version) is very very nice too, and if you're a Wusik user, the Resurrection library comes highly recommended. The song that featured a bunch of Resurrection sounds is our "biggest hit" on iTunes, lol.

The GMedia String machine will be something very interesting to check out. Though there is a really nice ensemble for Reaktor as well as a number of other options too.

Well... in about a week we'll know more, eh?

So has anyone from GMedia ever confirmed that SOB was real? The video always struck me as a pisstake, but then I'm Canadian, so I might be inclined to think everything is a pisstake.
