Hmm.....i have a c64, but my programming is bloody awful, but thanks for the info....thought provoking!!!

Heh...me too.
If you still have the C-64 manual, I believe it's all in there how to output voltages from the serial output port.
If I remember,the commador is great for 5 volt,real world interfacing.(there is 12vdc in the commador,but not sure about it being availible at the serial out.
Also,at this site; http://mokafix.chez-alice.fr/vst/index.html the designer talks about midi triggering with some vst they are offering. Gatefish for example.

Thanks a million....I was just going to use it for prophet64 (just, indeed!) Dont haave the manual, but I'm sure I could find it online......need the disk drive too......
