I think those drums sound amazing!
the brushed snare is just some small set I have lying around, i honestly have no idea where it came from.
Everything else is miscellaneous samples from my harddrive, tweaked ;)

mm, I'm a bit fan of disjointed things, so I like it like that.. I feel I got the disjointedness "right", but perhaps not for you :)

mm.. still wondering what can be done.. the melodic line i actually "wrote" (well, piano-rolled), and i was kinda after a cliche'd "sad" sound.

really? I would have thought a more synthy sound would be in order to sound like those guys? (that there's learjeff's awesome rhodes soundfont).
rachmiel wrote:post more!
I will. Most of my recent stuff is already spoken for (ie being released soon, so i don't feel good about making it too available beforehand) but I beleive I have a few dabblings I could post.
This thread or a new one?

cheers, sk

Great stuff! Love how the tune evolves.

please post to a new thread, perhaps one for each song? that way you could keep your critiques separate. :-)

Great work. Keepin' this one. Love the rhodes few note chords. Nice progression through the tune. Thought it had ended a few times, but it kept going. Makes it interesting for me.

super jazz, fella. There's intelligence in there. Enjoying the ghost snare beats and squishy analog sounds. this is a keeper, nice work!
