Sure, but how would you know it's not a trojan that will pretend to be a good plugin for a while, but then one day reverse the bit order of your DACs or randomly renumber all the tracks on your mixer or even seriously tangle up your audio cables?CodeAudio wrote:people have already downloaded, unpacked and virus scanned it without any trouble. Even though you might not trust Youwancock, you must have some trust in your peers.

Ah, but how do you know that isn't true about Synth1, Livecut, Blockfish, TriangleII, or Crystal? Or for that matter, z3ta+, Kontakt, Logic, or ProTools? The entirety of music software could be a grand conspiracy to wipe your hard drive and drink all your beer, you would't know.
Honestly, the plugin runs fine (and sounds fantastic to boot), don't pass just because Mr. Wa Shock hasn't showed up to reassure us in fractured English that it's not a virus.

Heuristics would help there...Paulie Phonick wrote:how would you know it's not a trojan that will pretend to be a good plugin for a while
You are probably running Norton or something like that so I guess you have a right to be paranoid.
How do you know one of the million .dll files on your PC won't do the same?
