-> 'licence': the plugindex subscription was free at the beginning, not sure if you had to pay later if already registered. on the user side I dont see any harm, since you cannot (with a clear conscience) sell VibraphoneTS anyway?!
-> custoMade publicitiy: custoMade probably put their vst's on plugindex for promotional purposes, and not to make money in the first instance. I really see no offense if you redistribute it privately, there is more of a gain in publicity for custoMade which lets a long forgotten vst shine again in the spotlight.
it surely would be decent to drop a mail to the dev, if possible. hence I am pretty sure they will be delighted to hear VibraphoneTS is still popular. I clearly doubt they plan to rerelease a commercial version - based on the informations here, plugindex and madtracker.

Some of you folks fail to understand...
Whether or not it's ok to distribute this plugin (or any other piece of software with a similar license) has nothing to do with "how can the person who owns the copyright lose?", or "it was free to begin with", or "But it's now abandonware, is it not?". Your conscience does not dictate what is right or wrong in this case.
It's purely a legal issue.

If you get the authority from the copyright holder (which it sounds like you have...) then you have the right to distribute it as the copyright holder allows."Unauthorized use and distribution of all the plugins as they are
shown on PlugIndex is prohibited (either on CD or on the net)."
The law+order geeks are still totally right...
Show me the email, and I'll be glad to upload the plug...

Back to topic. As I suspected this plugin is a freeware plugin. If I had it then I would upload it. But I think it is time that the law geeks can see the email, so show it to us.

I love the lower and mid-range of the oldy1 preset, just lovely. Other than that, it's a bit... not-very-good-sounding.Optomadic wrote:Sorry but that has to be the worse epiano I think I've ever heardBarf wrote:...just checked their site again, seems to be a new e-piano available..

I asked:
'Hallo liebes Plugindex-Team
Im KVRaudio Forum ist die Frage aufgetreten, was mit den alten custoMade
vstis ist. Konkret geht es um custoMade VibraphoneTS? Um eine Klärung
wären wir dankbar.

Answer from u.waldenburger[AT]plugindex:
'VibraphoneTS ist Freeware. Wer es hat , kann es gerne weitergeben!

Uwe (plugindex.de)
'
"
translation: vibraphoneTS is freeware. if you got it, you can gladly pass it down to somebody else.
