- Undock the comp view so I can see it on top of other views.
To have have more than one docking pane would be even better.
- Action to veiw comp view.

PS.
I hope that when/if we get sliders on audio lines that we can record us moving them.

I think this is the right place for this one...
Setting up a multi-out sequencer comp for the purpose of stem mixing is a bit of a pita with the way things work now... maybe I'm missing something, but when everything you insert automatically gets connected to the master out, you have to go & reconnect it the way you want manually. Perhaps the easiest way to explain this would be to give an example:
The way I work now (with XT1), I insert a new synth on a midi track (or add an audio track) in the seq, which I have set up with a number of outputs. In XT1, it gets assigned to output 1 automatically, but all I have to do is a quick right-click to change that. Unless I am missing something- now I have to switch to the modular view, and re-route everything there.
I suppose having multiple panes like soma mentioned above would help in this area- though I'd prefer to be able to do it right from the sequencer. I do use the modular part quite a bit too, but outside of whatever I have set up for the stems in the main window, I use it more "embedded" in tracks in the main sequencer.
Sorry to be so long-winded with my whining...

add a "save" button for keyboard shortcuts, and add mousebuttons\mousewheel configuration (expacially regarding the zoom).

Short cuts not saved is killing me too. Along with that, I REALLY miss the "recent" sub group for adding components.

I wonder with the VST API if it would be possible to save the state of plugins? If it was, plugins more than, say, 15 undos back could be purged. Then, if the user goes back that far, just reload the plugin from scratch and then load the state.DarkStar wrote:As mentioned here http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=183069 by cYrus, when a VST is deleted it remains hidden in XT2 so that "Undo" can work and reinstate the VST.
A "Purge Undo Buffer" function would clear out the Undo states.

a really minor one (but killer for those like me with a touch of visual OCD)
either - ctrl+arrow moves selected comp(s) - or - a 'snap to grid' option

sinkmusic wrote: 2- [comp view] Avoid overlayed synth comp !
WHen i make a project, i use to work in sequencer mode, and drag/drop Vstis in midi tracks. But it means that i always end up with 10-15 synths in a proejct.
If i switch to "comp view", all the synths i have drag/dropped are all overlayed/superposed and it takes ages (well, nearly)to move them to find the one you need (and maybe also remove the ones you dragged and don't need anymore, etc).
So please, i'd like to have (one day) a nicer way to show them.
