Actually, .ksd files are available now for both soundsets... But they are straight conversions from the V3 .glo file and not done by me....
What I have coming up are .ksd files that are based on conversion I make with categorization, but the presets themselves will differ from V3 to V4 - they will sound very, very different.....
I am also thinking about making straight conversions that keep the original sound but have the added categorization....
That may be the way to go with this, as it would just mean that the new presets based upon the already existing V3 ones would have to be re-named....
Still thinking....

The new Kore 2 software will supposedly be out next month (at least for Kore 1 owners). Do you know if the .ksd format is being extended along those lines? I seem to remeber reading something about that, especially in the categorization area.

I have no idea, as this is all new to me.... Until today I have been a very happy Absynth 3 owner...
But obviously this is something I must look into... Thanks for the tip

Kore 2 should not break compatibility with files you create now. It's just that users of the Kore 2 software can define their own categories if I'm reading the sales blurb correctly. The new software looks sweet. I hope NI can deliver on their promises. The forums show a lot of disgruntled users, but I've been fairly happy with version 1.0 - it is a 1.0, after all. It shows tremendous promise, and I'm glad you are supporting the .ksd file format for Absynth.

That is good to know....
About the categorization....
here is a sample preset I have started making for V4
CryptoV4test.zip
It is 2 .wav files and one .ksd file...
I have attempted to categorize it but would appreciate anyone's comments on how they would categorize it and why, if it would be different from how I have done.
Also, on a preset such as this what assigned controllers would anyone find most useful? What would you like the ability to tweak?

A new V3 .glo file has been emailed to everyone who bought Cryptotronix so far...
Each preset has been tweaked and has had controllers added for the Effect Time and also for each individual LFO's Rate....
This should add some tweakability for each preset.
There will a V4 preset update within a week.
When the preset updates are done a new file will be uploaded to the server.

The V4 presets have been re-converted from the new .glo file and expanded upon. There are now 57 presets that come with Cryptotronix for Absynth V4.
All presets have controllers for LFO and FX settings, while some feature other controllers taking advantage of the new Macro Controls that enable the control of multiple parameters.
See here for audio demos and ordering:

Coming next is a new conversion of Absynth Anomaly for V4....
