Might be a bit longer than i thought SG i have to read the manual it seems..

This too was my first synth...

It was also the instrument that first got me into writing music. Thank you. I think one of the best patches on it was the whistle patch.

Bit of a beast, is it? I remember reading about it when it was the hot new item, sounded like a killer toy.

You're welcome... I got mine used, so I don't know if any of the patches on it were the originals. Also, something wierd happened shortly after I bought it- don't remember the circumstances, but suddenly it made a funny noise (like the classic synth wind noise), and thereafter all the patches were gone- so I really can't say I know the patch of which you speak. It only did that once.

I found out last night that it hasn't been expanded so i'll have to get the upgrade then i'll have some decent sampling time,As it is i've got 4 meg but i can resample down to 5khz and record into live so i will do something in the next couple of days,playing round with different sample rates and processing through the fx.I think as there are a ton of synths and basses out there already i'll try something a bit different..

Sweet, those were exactly my thoughts when I recorded these. It is a cool synth for basses & stuff too, but I think there's enough of that kind of thing around. I was also feeling too lazy to bother with multisamples.

I'm hoping to get some samples from my ESQ-1 posted next, I have a bunch of noisy patches I made with the so-called hidden waves that I'm planning to sample.

I recorded some stuff today.This is a loop sequenced in the RS and recorded into live using the same poly800 synth fx loop:

Will you let me know if it plays back ok?I'll upload some more tomorrow but i want to make sure the samples playback ok and they are useable.The sounds are well suited to electro/experimental stuff,lots of bloops and bleeps and rhythmic stuff to come

I already found a use for some of the sounds in a track so they should work.I'll put a small sample pack together and upload it tomorrow.
