@guitarzan - short scale fenders, good idea... had a look at various gibson inspired guitars on ebay over the weekend (shudders... ) I guess i like the twang of a longer scale...

What I thought too, but watching convinced me they do work. Notice he plays using the anchored thumb technique and wear his instrument really high, normally a recipe for RSI, tendinitis, CTS and all kind of bad health consequences, yet his wrists don't bend in any unnatural fashion when playing the Torzal.GaryG wrote:@bullshark - crazy! i thought you were meant to avoid guitars with necks like that like the plague...
I'm an arthritis sufferer, it's just in my fingers for now and doesn't keep me from playing bass(although slower), but if it ever move to my wrist I just might give Jerome a call, even thought I make a very conscious effort not to bend my wrists when I play (using proper left hand technique, floating thumb right hand and a lowered instrument).
