I never sample something so I can say "every note sampled". Sometimes it is and sometimes it is better not to depending on what you hear. I always go by what I hear. Exactly what I wanted to hear
I was asking because a few years ago I purchased the sample collection that the Cult Retro Sampler instrument was based on mostly to get the violin and choir sounds from the Orchestron--the ones that Kraftwerk used in Radio Activity and Trans Europe Express. The violins were okay, but the choir sounds were horrible, based only on something like three samples.
This particular collection has a lot more useful stuff other than the Orchestron sounds, so even if the Orchestron samples weren't what I was after, it would still be extremely useful. The only complete Orchestron sample collection I'm aware of costs $199 and has a bunch of Optigan and Talentmaker samples I'm not interested in.
