The original price was about 300 €, if i remember correctly...it's discounted

I'm not saying it's not reasonable for what you get - in fact, I was a bit surprised it was not more expensive! I tend to mentally sort out most things labelled "VSL" beforehand...

I've played with the demo a couple of times during the years, but somehow it doesn't quite gel with me (and the way I do things, I guess).

Also, the price... and specifically the *feeling* of paying much of it for stuff I don't really need!

Yes, me too.
Due to technical reasons thats not possible at the moment with CHG.
But hey, the other guitars are great too.

Chris Hein - Bass will be avalable as boxed bundle or as single instrument download.
CHB will be ready in two weeks.

For K3 I produced the Brass Instruments, nothing else.
This is the base of a complete new Horns Library with over 20 instruments.

Two years ago there was no request for a 1GB download
and for selling in music shops its not possible to break every library into 10-50 boxes.
But because I try to listen to user requests, also CHH Vol2 will be available
in several smaller versions.

Perhaps just as well... Bite-sized download libraries with reasonable prices are just about as dangerous to my economy as drugs are to others!

i know you're not looking for a bundled instrument, and i think this one is a bit overpriced considering the Play engine doesn't work very well, but Gypsy actually does have great nylon guitar sounds.

With a decently set-up server that supports resuming/multi-threading, I feel 2GB is quite reasonable nowadays! (I just downloaded that Yellow Tools Independence free -- approx 2 GBs -- in less than 45 minutes. Queued it up in Free Download Manager, went for a walk with the dog, and it was all done by the time I got back!)

But a lighter version like you describe would probably be a very welcome option for many -- me included, depending on the pricing compared to the full version.

Personally, I would only want the full version of one (or, perhaps more than one) guitar.

I'd like for myself to have the choice of more basses first over more velocities.

Yes. As long as server can dish out a reasonable speed, that's no problem.I think most of us realize that high quality= large file sizes. As long as you dont have people trying to d/l this with a 56k modem, you shouldnt have many complaints.
