this tool looks very interesting. for people who are unhappy with this announcement you can ignore it. i don't start ripping on companies cause they released yet another compressor or yet another distortion, so why do people take crap when they release something fresh? i guess innovators always get criticized harder than the rest.

hello!
I know about the argue of not learning the theory, but it could also help me to get into it and i would really love to check it, but my big question:
Are there any similiar plugs for Mac/logic users?
Or maybe a AU version of this soon?
many thx for your help!

i may have to call off my vacation over this year because of it, though
i'm interested to check out some english documentation when it gets translated. if anything this vst will give me some ideas i wouldn't(couldn't) have come up with with my rudimentary theory.

So far, it doesn't work at all in Sonar, won't load as a VST in eXT..nada - argh, I am confused

I will try to fix it of course. Could you send me an exact description - is the plug not even listed in the VST instruments list??
Thanks, Jonathan

Hi Jonathan, jonathan.sb wrote:I will try to fix it of course. Could you send me an exact description - is the plug not even listed in the VST instruments list??
Thanks, Jonathan
In energyXT (version 1.x, tried and true) Improvisator shows up as a VST, but when I try to load it, eXT errors saying it isn't a VST.
In Sonar it also shows up as a VST and is recognized. However, when connecting the output of Improvisator to the input of a synth, nothing happens. By "nothing" I mean no MIDI is transmitted between the the two. Only once has Improvisator's keyboard lit up to indicate MIDI activity, but the synth never seemed to get the data. Since then, I have made numerous attempts at getting the connection to work and failed - no MIDI activity indication from Improvisator's keyboard.
Sonar's interface has always been problematic for me, but I did confirm that I could send MIDI to a synth from my external controller, audio routed properly, etc., so I know it's not me at this point.
Thanks for the help and for watching this thread.
