... and 3 YAMAHA DX-27 sysex patches
... and 72 YAMAHA TX-81 sysex patches
... and 53 various sysex patches
But... why did they inser 72(!) TX-81 sysex patches? Unless they "reproduced" them. Because the only synths I know in VSTi form who can load those kind of sysex data natively are BigTick Rhino and LoftSoft FMHeaven (I should finally cave and get this one, as it is a huge competitor to ex-FM7, and I like the routing matrix better - but it seems to be discontinued).Imports Yamaha DX100, DX27 and DX21 SysEx

although officially only DX21/DX27/DX100-patches are supported
all TX81-patches are loadable and functionable too
as tested a view minutes ago...

Looks like the TX-81Z patches are conversions for the DX-21, which are then loadable in Phantom. I haven't installed Phantom yet, too less time, but this'd clear why it's actually working.vista wrote:...btw. this seems to be the homepage of the

maybe ...Looks like the TX-81Z patches are conversions for the DX-21
...i've got "unsupported format" message when loading DX100 sysex's.
1. do exist any "sysex-format-converters"
like TX81<->DX21, DX21<->DX100, ...?
2. how should the sysex be formatted
to be loadable into PHANTOM.
3. i like the PM-Synthesis buttons which make a better and smoother FM
4. btw.: DiscoDSP PHANTOM has the same color as
the main person in the PHANTOM comics of the 70's

I've got version 1.1 0f Phantom. I wonder if version 1.2 fixed the huge CPU hit. 1.1 usually eats up 20-25% on an X24800+ processor with only three notes playing. I should write them and see if I can get the upgrade to 1.2. I must have got it as part of a deal when I bough Vertigo.
