I tested it; works great!

Fairly common after a release or more than one update(s) for the NI servers to get bogged down. This usually lasts less than 24/36 hours, so have patience; it's worth getting.

It finally worked for me. Good selection of sounds, but I'll have to look at how many of them I already have in Kontakt 2/3. Anyone know what sounds are from what products?

Look at the browser meta data and you can see which engine is used for each sound.

I'm a Komplete5 owner, so while there isn't really any new content here, this is an unbelievable, wonderful freebie. never known NI to be this generous.

I just wish it could see/load ALL my K5 stuff, like Kore 2 can. I want a Kore 2 SOFTWARE ONLY verison, dangit. Last thing I need is another piece of hardware. This Kore Player looks like EXACTLY that, only crippled (in an obvious attempt to get folks to buy the sound packs).

Anyway, thanks NI. I think.

I thought the same thing until I got one. The KORE controller is awesome! (imho). The hardware and software integrate very well. It feels liberating to control instruments/fx with it.

You can use KORE software without the controller attached to the computer, if you want. But, they don't sell the KORE software without it (that I know of).

I wasn't interested in KORE at first, but once I started using it, I'm so glad I did! And I'd be sad if I didn't have the controller to use with it.
