i made populus in march, in communication with CM and under that impression.
i don't buy magazines or go to places where magazines are sold so i only know what i hear here. i know it's been included on one issue, i'm not sure which one, and i don't know if it's been included in multiple issues.
in ?july? i was contacted about including xompler - a synth i made in a few hours four or five years ago.
i do feel misrepresented by CM.
they also should have given me a real interview for the DC07.

Considering the fact you actually won the contest then i would of thought an interview mandatory! Since i do not buy very often i did not know that at all and its a poor show man. A Firm but e-mail requesting at least a copy of the issue of the magazine in which your plug-in appeared and a copy of the most current issue sounds fair to me and if they are decent they should sort that out and an offer of using future plug-in(s) by yourself provided they give you a little page space for an interview?

no, i got an interview. it's that i wasn't allowed to say anything beyond what they wanted me to say, eg. "consuming feels good."NEKRO.MACHINE wrote:Considering the fact you actually won the contest then i would of thought an interview mandatory! That to me sounds like a worse scenario and even more insult than i thought what you meant man! xoxos i am sorry to hear about that. It strikes me as contradicting that they praise freeware software so much yet fail to let a developer talk freely about themselves and their creations. It is disappointing to say the least friend
Have you asked any other developer's that have worked on and handed over any software to Computer Music if they received the same sort of treatment?
I will let you know if i your software is on the DVD next time i pickup a copy as i have not bought an issue in a while

There was another one-off thing (that I have since lost) called CM Session. I think it was sample-based. You needed a serial number that was found inside the magazine.
Yes, I will take your drum samples.
