But do you create the cc map in Toxic itself, or in Cubase? If you create it in Toxic, then it's a bug that it's not saved and it should be fixed.Stomper wrote:i think u also didnt understand the problem.
i can link the midi knobs to the synth. thats not a problem.
the problem is that the cc map isnt saved with cubase4/5.

Yes, Inside Toxic.
1. i press the link button in Toxic GUI.
2. move the master release knob (for exemple)in Toxic.
3. move a knob on my midi keyboard.
4. press again on the link button.
works.
load another instance, or reopen the project with the synth and it doesnt work anymore and i have to do links all over again.

I've tried it and it works fine here, as long as the plugin's track is selected in Cubase's Project window.

It doesn't matter if the gui is open or not. The track in the Project window in Cubase has to be selected. When you add another plugin, that plugin's track will be selected automatically, so Toxic loses the "midi focus" (apparently).Stomper wrote:actualy, im trying it when the toxic gui is open and selected.

Hi Reflex.
just made another check to make sure.
I started a new empty project and opened a Toxic instance.
ive linked a knob to the env release via toxic gui as ive described before.
on that instance of Toxic it works fine.
I open another instance of toxic. the Toxic2 track is selected automaticly, but it doesnt work. the cc map wasnt saved. switching to toxic1 track, the knob still works. switching back to Toxic2 still doesnt work. i have to link it again.

What I do:
1. add a Toxic Bio instance
2. link a knob on my keyboard to a random control through the Toxic gui
3. add another Toxic Bio instance
4. link a knob on the new instance
5. click on the first instance's track in the Cubase project window, the original link works
6. click on the second instance's track in the project window, the second link works

So you DO need to make a new link for EACH instance.reflex wrote:2. link a knob on my keyboard to a random control through the Toxic gui

thats actualy my problem. i want to link only once.
of course if i link the new instance it will work. i never said it didnt. the issue is that i want the new instance to load the linked controls that i made before automaticly.
im usuing all my 16 knobs + mod wheel and its realy frustrating to link 16 controls every time.
lets take Blue for exemple. i latch (link) a knob to a control. no metter how many instance i had, have and will have, that knob will always be linked to that control until i will unlinked it myself.
hope you did understand me this time and thnx for the patience.

Yes, that won't work. I can tell Maxx that you asked for this, but I can't promise that something like that will be implemented.
